• Enterprise Ireland, the government agency responsible for the development of Irish industry.
• Ireland's 35 City and County Enterprise Boards

The SME Section ensures that the interests of Irish SMEs are taken into account in the development and execution of policy initiatives at national and international level, but it does not provide assistance to individual small firms.
